We are seeking a Senior Event Manager to join our established team of industry professionals servicing the corporate events market on the Gold Coast, throughout Australia and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client account management
- Managing a broad scope of event and conference management facets including budget management, sourcing & contracting venues, developing menu and beverage selections, sourcing and booking entertainment and speakers, event design & collateral production, sponsorship & exhibition management, managing event production, audio-visual, themeing, room décor & staging, developing run orders and floorplans, post event reporting
- Liaison with all event stakeholders
- On-site supervision and direction of event crew & contractors
- Showtime event direction
- Management of project OH & S requirements
- Working on multiple events (at various stages of delivery) at any one time
Key Selection Criteria:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in an Event Manager role
- Extensive knowledge of all elements of full-service event management & production integrating audio-visual, lighting, sound, themeing & entertainment with a proven capability across event logistics
- The ability to deliver quality concept to completion event solutions
- Exemplary time management skills
- Exceptional computer, oral and written communication skills
- A hands-on approach to events
- A creative approach to problem solving
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Events Air registration management system as advantage
- Knowledge of Rental Point, Human Force & Event Draw an advantage
- Ability to work within a multi-tiered team environment
An attractive remuneration is available for the right candidate and will be negotiated based on experience.
