The Opportunity
Stockland has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Facilities Manager/Operations Manager to drive the continued success of our CBD workplace asset, Stockland Piccadilly, and 601 Pacific Hwy St Leonards & Walker St North Sydney.
Stockland Piccadilly, based in a premium location within Sydney’s CBD comprises of 39,000 sqm of office space across two buildings and 3,000 sqm of retail space. We are seeking a proactive, motivated and innovative Senior Facilities Manager to take an instrumental role in shaping the future.
The critical focus for the role will lie in ensuring the property remains sustainable, cost effective and in-line with the overall company strategy. Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders you will:
- Coordinate the strategic and operational management of the complex from a facility and property perspective, whilst containing expenditure within budget
- Ensuring the assets retain highest level of presentation
- Manage and oversee all contractor relationships and supply chain, ensuring agreed standards of service delivery are met
- Provide insight into industry practices and best practice initiatives
- Provide leadership and support to the Facilities Manager
- Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, including the supervision of capital works and tenancy delivery works
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including tenants, retailers and industry groups
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated operations experience within the retail, property or asset management industry. Confident and familiar with OH&S and legislative compliance requirements, you will be comfortable stepping into a fast-paced centre and be able to effectively mitigate risk and ensure the highest level of safety for our customers.
Most critically, you will have sound financial and commercial acumen and prior experience in developing and managing budgets, as well as being able to make strategic decisions and implement cost-saving initiatives. Furthermore, your excellent communication skills will allow you to engage and influence a wide variety of stakeholders and provide valuable insights that influence strategic decision making.
