The Position
- Special Counsel or Senior Associate Level Position with possibility of equity path
- Able to run family law files autonomously and utilise the firm’s commercial, taxation, superannuation and estate planning expertise
- Secretarial and paralegal support provided as needed
- Complex property matters involving high net worth individuals and business owners
The Applicant
The successful applicant will have:
- 5+ Years Post Admission Family Law Experience being Accredited Specialist or will undertake accreditation
- ability to act autonomously on Family Law matters and involve principals and others where appropriate
- great communication skills and ability to liaise with clients in their language
- ability to understand balance sheets, trusts and complicated financial arrangements
- great negotiation skills and willingness to settle matters in the clients’ interest in the early stages of the dispute
- willingness to litigate to achieve best outcomes and appear at court without counsel on interlocutory applications
