SalarySenior Finance Analyst - 6 Month Contract
The Senior Financial Analyst - Consumer Retail position is primarily responsible for partnering with the Consumer Retail global business unit. The incumbent will:
- Support the Finance Manager - Consumer Retail and General Manager Finance - Consumer Retail to be the advisors to the GBU
- As a member of the Consumer Retail Finance Team, deliver the month-end close process (partnering with Shared Services Finance Teams) to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the Consumer Retail GBU's monthly financial performance.
- Support the GBU in achieving its financial objectives by providing the analysis, insight and challenge into its decisions.
With a strong focus on future performance, provide financial forecasts and budgets on behalf of the GBU.
- Partnering: Business Partnering with different departments across Consumer Retail GBU.
- Decision support: In-depth profitability analysis including, but not limited to, customer and/or segment profitability, gross margin, customer service cost, cost to acquire, credit management and all other areas of operating and capital expenses. This includes contribution to Business Cases in the organization.
- Month end: Support the month-end closing process (partnering with Shared Services Finance Teams). Be responsible for Bad Debt Provisioning Model, and the explanation of variances to budgets and forecasts.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budget and monthly forecasting process (Business Partnering focus and collaboration with Shared Services Finance Teams) to enable the assessment of the GBU's progress towards its targets and to take appropriate action in light of that information.
- Be the key driver of identifying and delivering enhancements and streamlining functionality for key models and tools utilised by the finance team to support business decision making, with a continuous improvement and value-added focus.
- You must adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, relevant to the requirements of this role.
