Senior Finance Analyst, Home Health

We are working hard to create an inclusive workplace and develop Indigenous careers.The opportunity:As a result of an internal move, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic and collaborative team finance team.Specializing within Home Health, this role will be working closely and business partnering with our Amplar Home Health team.Reporting into the Finance Partner - Home Health, this role will be assisting the Finance Partner - Home Health, by providing accurate financial and non-financial analysis and insight into the associated business unit.You will be required to identify performance improvement opportunities for the business and minimise business risks.Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with budget and forecast revisions and liaise with Reporting COE to define standard management reporting requirements
• Assist with commercial tender submissions, including gathering operational requirements and costing these through working across functional teams
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and modelling
• Support the Senior Executive to deliver on their financial goals
• Utilise analytical techniques to understand and highlight the impact of market and business drivers on performance
• Provide analysis insights and commentary to be communicated at month end at the Finance and Business review meetings by the Finance Partner, as agreed.
• Identify and model particular market trends, regulatory changes or internal changes to Medibank's operational value chain
• Review monthly spend, understand reasons for variances and implications for contract delivery (time, quality, cost)
• Review monthly forecasts
• Support the business partner with analysis and forward-looking insight
• Drive proactive approach to financial problem solving and decision making

About you:To be successful as the Senior Finance Analyst - Home Health, you will at least 5-7 years' experience within a similar role. Prior industry experience in a complex organisation including healthcare, financial services or telecommunications would be considered highly advantageous.This role requires an individual who has strong communication skills, resilient, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and have an eye for detail.
