The NSW Reconstruction authority are currently seeking to fill multiple Senior Finance Officer roles within the funding arrangements team.
As a Senior Finance Officer, you will effectively deliver financial management and coordinator major initiatives in the disaster investment and expenditure framework, in relation to the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). This is an opportunity to for someone with financial acumen to make a real difference to disaster impacted communities.
We are looking for someone with
- Experience working in teams responsible for funding allocations and financial systems in a complex multifaceted sensitive environment.
- Technical Knowledge and skills in government sector reporting, understanding, interpreting and in presenting complex accounting issues and challenges to senior management. Preferably from an audit or public sector background but not essential.
- Has strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to work cohesively with stakeholders and team members to deliver results.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce or other relevant field and membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA Australia or IIA Australia, or equivalent relevant experience.
