- Salary ranging from $120,859 pa to $133,183 pa + super and leave loading
- Temporary - Full Time - 12 months
Your role
You will be responsible for leading a newly created team, setting clear responsibilities and expectations within a short timeframe to achieve best practice for a high profile inquest.
The role ensures the team delivers a high standard of administrative, court and social work support in the most efficient manner.
Persons seeking to work at the Coroners Court need to be compassionate and empathetic and have a high level of personal resilience.
What you'll do
- Provide high level advice, guidance and support to the inquest team, State Coroner, Counsel assisting team, Executive Officer and the Coroner's Court Registrar
- Develop systems of best practice to ensure work is properly captured, allocated and completed within set timeframes
- Establish, maintain and manage the expectations of diverse stakeholders
- In consultation with social workers, develop and implement initiatives to deliver best practice to support bereaved families
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience in strategic and innovative project management and an excellent understanding of project methodologies, processes and procedures
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience consistently providing high level advice to support decision making processes and procedural guidelines
- Experience monitoring and evaluating projects including risk and contingency management, logistical issues, WHS, record keeping and development of future best practice deliverables
- Ability to maintain resilience and professionalism in the face of extreme sadness and grief
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
