Senior Financial Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our growing team based in Eastern Creek NSW.  This role will be responsible for the delivery of accounting processes and activities, partnering with our business customers and ensuring systems are kept up to date and reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare accurate post month end journals.
• Complete daily bank reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner. 
• Assist with invoice generation and payment tracking as required
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting purposes.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure processes are as effective as possible

Skills and Experience:
 

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting. Finance, Economics or Business Studies
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high growth organisation
• CA or CPA qualified or working towards 
• High level attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Solid knowledge of mid-tier accounting software (ideally Microsoft Business Central)
