My client is a top 100 ASX listed company in the financial services sector. They have a strong presence around Sydney, and they have great plans to expand their operations globally. Their culture is focused on collaboration and efficiency, they foster a high-performing environment with frequent career development opportunities.
Due to the expansion, they are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to join the team in their Sydney office. You will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will have a broad set of responsibilities including:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of monthly unit price calculations
- Monthly BAS/GST returns
- Quarterly investor reporting
- Responsible for the set-up of new funds
- Ad-hoc projects
To be considered for this high-profile role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with at least 4+ years' experience from an industry accounting role, ideally from property or funds (first movers from chartered will also be considered). You will have fantastic communication skills, a strong commercial acumen and a desire to further progress your career.
