Key Responsibilities:
- To develop wet sauces as per customer requirements using both new and existing raw materials
- Develop new wet sauce formulations
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders including customers working in a project driven environment
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Food Technologists
- Transfer of approved wet sauces from development to production
- To match existing wet sauces already on the market as required, using both new and existing raw materials
- Upscaling successful developments from bench top to pilot plant and into the factory
- Transferring existing products from a 3rd party manufacturer to onsite production with no significant differences in the finished product
- At least 5 years' experience in Wet Sauce development
- Experience in the implementation of Wet Sauces into a factory environment
- Appropriate Food Science Degree qualifications
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of Processing & Formulation requirements for wet sauce shelf life
- Strong end-to-end product development and project management experience
- Excellent reporting, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Team player who can equally act autonomously and use initiative
- Highly creative, passionate and proactive
