The Senior NDP Technologist - Nutrition (Foods) role is designed to be fully functional in the 4-Day work week trial.
The ANZ Nutrition R&D team is responsible for the on-time and in-full management of business continuity, the savings agenda, the TT10 program and delivery of innovations and renovations. It drives functional excellence whilst effectively combining relevant culinary, nutritional, and technology skills deploying existing technologies.
Job Summary
The Senior NDP Technologist - Nutrition (Foods) vacancy is for a role as Platform Leader, reporting into the Nutrition R&D Manager. As platform lead, you are end-to-end responsible for defining the 3-year action plan for platform business (e.g. Scratch cooking aids, snacking, dressings), you oversee the delivery of all platform projects (5S, renovations, innovation, etc.), you are the main business partner of the ANZ business platform lead, as well as FPOC to the EU team for ANZ.
Your deep knowledge of the technological elements of category, combined with your curiosity about solving consumer problems, will result in bringing the right solutions to the markets. In developing solutions, you drive functional excellence whilst effectively combining the relevant culinary, nutritional, technical, and market knowledge to design products consumers need.
Role Responsibilities
Defining the strategy and 3 yr implementation plan for the platform together with relevant business partners, including:
o Portfolio management
o Strategic governance of the core via TT10 framework, which includes steering renovations of the core based on insights TT10 benchmarking as well as understanding what the CSP/Sales organization needs for their interaction with customers
o 5S/Savings program, e.g., via complexity reduction and leveraging GDC toolbox
o Shortages and business waste management: e.g., via Resilience program
o Making Future 5 bigger levering EU learnings and insights
o IBP where consumer problems are translated into winning products
o Maintain and leverage relationships with suppliers: co-developing solutions for faster to-market delivery
Driving the collection of projects end-to-end, delivering to the platform and communicating project status and issues to project sponsors/ stakeholders/ relevant parties
Driving the development of selling stories (e.g. for TT10), KBS, demos for the platform in tandem with the culinary chef, CSP, and marketing team
Ensuring highest level of vigilance in documentation of the project findings and final product specification via SAP PLM
Main business partner of the platform lead, as well as FPOC to the EU team. Meaning for example:
o Develop and maintain understanding of local portfolio, regulatory & legal requirements, consumer insights, etc.
o Front line support with customers (e.g. trade cascades)
Providing high-quality technical input into the ANZ cross functional business team, platform IB and 5S steercom
Working closely with the packaging team and diet and health members in ANZ and globally, to deliver the regional boldly healthier roadmaps

Does this sound like You
Ideally, with master’s degree in food technology or related area
At least 5 years of experience in product development and understanding of food technologies
Experience in food technologies is preferred
Proven track record in project management and delivery in market
