About You:
This role is best suited to an enthusiastic self-starter who has capacity to adapt and quickly develop new capabilities and enjoys a challenge. You will:
- Be based in Brisbane
- Have a creative and questioning mind
- Understand new concepts quickly
- Possess the initiative and analytical capability to work through complex problems and situations effectively
- Identify the strategic and functional objectives required to deliver key product solutions
- Demonstrate highly developed presentation and communication skills
Your skills and knowledge:
Front end - Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue, D3, HTML/CSS
Back end - C# .NET, Microsoft Azure Web Apps
Source control technologies: Git, Visual Studio Team Services
Databases: SQL Server, Redis Cache (or similar)
Desirable skills:
Continuous Integration/Deployment Frameworks
Understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
Automated Testing Frameworks
You will be degree qualified and able to demonstrate the following:
- 5+ years software development experience
- Permanent Australian residency
- Operate effectively in a team but equally adept at working autonomously.
- Experience developing software using Agile methodologies like Scrum
- Handle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Employ initiative to identify opportunities and find effective and innovative new solutions with a "CAN DO" attitude;
