Join our team as a Senior ICT Officer – Full Stack Developer and play a pivotal role in delivering and enhancing information systems and services for Brisbane Catholic Education schools and office. Utilise your expertise in Azure DevOps, MS Visual Studio, MS .NET, Xamarin, Kubernetes, React, and Angular to lead technical projects, provide operational support, and contribute to solution design, while also guiding and supervising ICT Officers within the team.
About the role:
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues affecting deliverables and milestones.
- Provide high-level technical analysis, design, development, and configuration of learning, teaching, administration software packages and systems supported by the Digital Solutions team.
- Undertake complex programming/configuration tasks associated with the development, maintenance and enhancement of systems supported by Digital Solutions
- Mentor and provide technical training for ICT Officers in specialist subject matter areas
- Lead and manage the implementation of technical projects, ensuring timely delivery
- Negotiate project scopes, plan activities, and oversee small to medium projects involving external providers.
- Foster a collaborative environment, and ensure the maintenance and support of information system software and services meet high-quality standards.
About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Proficient in full-stack development with a focus on mobile applications.
- Familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, utilizing DevOps for streamlined work tracking.
- Ability to work on different platforms, encompassing on-premises configurations and Azure deployments (Kubernetes experience preferred).
- Experience in developing new features as well as enhancements for web applications using React and Typescript.
- Knowledge in API design.
- Provide technical leadership in Microsoft development technologies and Azure cloud platforms.
