Our opportunityThe
Senior Gambling and
Evaluations Officer will:
- Assess and determine medium to high risk applications in relation to EGMs for use in Victoria;
- Assess and determine applications with regards to medium to high risk gambling products and systems;
- Prepare internal memos and correspondence to applicants and industry participants on medium to high risk/complexity EGM, gambling products and system applications and issues;
- Assess, manage, investigate and respond to requests for information from internal and external stakeholders of a medium to high level of complexity;
- Build strong relationships with manufacturers, testers, licensees and key industry stakeholders to better identify issues and risks, and gather industry intelligence;
- Assist in the building and implementation of processes to perform ongoing risk assessments of EGMs submitted for approval.
Who we are looking forTo be successful in this position you will have:
- Sound understanding of the regulatory framework relating to the gambling industry;
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation appropriately in a regulatory environment in relation to applications that present as complex and/or a high risk of causing harm;
- Ability in computer systems development and security.
