Raine & Associates Pty Ltd (R&A) is an employee owned, Brisbane-based consultancy firm specialising in geology, engineering geology and Geotechnical Engineering. About the Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our tight-knit and well-established engineering team in Brisbane. In this newly established position, you will play a significant role in project delivery and support in developing our geotechnical capabilities, while establishing your technical and leadership skills within a highly skilled, emerging consultancy.

About You
The ideal applicant will have:
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and support of team mentoring.
- Theoretical knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering, with strong practical experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of how innovative, honest and practical solutions create client value.
- Confidence in a client facing role, with a passion for building trusted client relationships.
- A strong focus on health and safety and team well-being.
- A charismatic, values-driven personality with a desire to work collaboratively as part of a thriving team culture.
Above all else, we are looking for someone ready to take the next step in their professional career at R&A.
In addition, we expect you to have:
- Greater than 5 years of practical experience as a qualified Geotechnical Engineer with at least 3 years associated with civil and mine infrastructure and open pit mining.
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
- A Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or other relevant tertiary qualification.
- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) or be eligible to apply for RPEQ status.
- A valid, Open Australian Drivers Licence.
