We provide cross-sector support at various stages from early planning through to delivery to help project teams navigate the adoption of DE.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior GIS Manager to join our TEK (Technology, Engineering and Knowledge) division based in Sydney . The role will see you leading and coordinating GIS Management activities and providing specialist GIS solutions for some of the nation's most iconic projects, at precontract and delivery phase.Your key tasks will include (but not be limited to):
- Plan and control the delivery of GIS for precontract and delivery phase projects.
- Establish and implement GIS workflows and processes that support tender and project objectives.
- Responsible for the management of project GIS data for all disciplines.
- Provide support to Design and Construction teams using GIS applications and tools.
- Perform spatial data management and data analysis activities where required.
- Administer ArcGIS Enterprise, Geodatabases and Geocortex applications.
- Develop high value use cases including the documentation of processes, applicability, and value proposition to projects.
- Participate in a Digital Engineering Community of Practice (COP) including introducing and up-skilling project resources and the adoption of innovation practices.
- Provide training support through coaching and sharing of knowledge.
- Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) in Built Environment, Survey, Mapping, GIS, Science, Information Technology (IT).
- Solid GIS experience in the Engineering Consulting or Construction industry on large multi discipline projects.
- Experience in the following: ArcGIS, Geocortex, FME.
- Previous experience mentoring junior GIS team members.
- Exposure to major multi-discipline engineering and construction delivery.
- Exposure to working within the pre-contracts environment on multiple tenders at once.
