As a Senior Governance Officer, you will be responsible for delivery through reconciliation and effective administration of payroll functions for the organisation to ensure accurate disbursement of fortnightly salary, allowance, and deductions

Description
Your key responsibilities will be:
- To calculate and process fortnightly salary adjustments and payroll functions to ensure the accurate administration of salary, associated claims, and subsequent accuracy of entitlements within legislation and policy
- Consult with stakeholders regarding payroll functions which may include (taxation, recoupment, overpayments, and negotiation of repayments and disbursements of funds)
- Administer, monitor collate and analyse data reporting in line with business requirements to inform and ensure salary accuracy and consistency
- Performs payroll reconciliations and resolves errors by legislation and organisational business rules.
- Undertake general administrative and payroll activities, contributing to the delivery of accurate payroll and accounting functionality
- Provide advice and contribute to the development of strategies to reduce risks on payroll issues impacting upon service delivery
Profile
A successful candidate will need to have the following:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA qualifications
- Experience in doing all payroll functions
- proficiency in using SAP
