About the roleRole Purpose Design is in our brand DNA. From the look and feel of our brand across property listings. signboards, at our bespoke events and conferences, to merchandise, to client-facing materials, this role is integral in driving a memorable, distinctive brand. As an integral part of our in-house creative team, your role is to collaboratively brainstorm, conceptualize and execute creative concepts, graphic and motion design, visual design, content and more. The projects are varied, and creative freedom matters to us as much as it does you. Our ethos is ‘bringing homes to life’ and not only will you play a role in that but bringing the essence of ‘BresicWhitney’ to life for our people, our clients and our communities. You understand all facets of design and the importance of a consistent yet layered visual language that is applicable to different audiences and channels. You have an eye for detail and the technical components of your craft, one that will benefit the continual evolution and ensure the industry-leading standards of our photography, retouching and videography and more.
Key Responsibilities Working within a close-knit team, the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for:
- Helping create and deliver the visual identity for the BresicWhitney brand, including maintaining distinctive aesthetic and storytelling lens across our photography, videography, editorial-style retouching, journal, social content and more.
- Capturing and editing content as part of our strategy including short-format video.
- Executing various motion design projects for digital assets.
- Be a champion of quality and technical expertise
- Deliver artwork that is to the brief and on brand
- Attend marketing or property-related appointments where required.
- Ad hoc responsibilities as required by the evolving needs of BresicWhitney.
Skills & Attributes The successful candidate is a creative with a level of business nous. You understand the intersection of creativity and strategy, ideation, and execution. You are genuinely passionate about your work and thrive working with likeminded creatives and communicators.
- 8-10 years’ graphic design and visual design / visual communications experience, including expert knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, The Arts or similar.
- Motion design experience and UX/UI design knowledge/principles.
- Experience in creating on-brand, engaging content for multiple audiences.
- An aptitude and eye for videography, photography, and retouching.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to take constructive feedback.
- Ability to positively influence a team of diverse creatives - We’re a tight-knit team who respect and support one another.
