About the role
The Senior Advisor is responsible for the delivery of second level People & Culture (P&C) support, HR advice and works closely with Superintendents and other people leaders to support their departments in a broad range of complex cases such as managing performance, policy interpretation and advice, leave management, staffing arrangements, remuneration and workplace conduct.
About You

• You will have strong experience in an operational HR role, ideally within the mining, civil, construction or manufacturing industries.
• You’re not someone who shies away from teamwork and helping others in any way you can -in fact this is a key part of who you are and what makes you a successful operational HR professional!
• You are relatable, approachable, knowledgeable and have a demonstrated track record of successfully building relationships and trust with stakeholders quickly and effectively.
• You are someone who prides themselves in their commitment to safety, loyalty to your team and naturally supportive and collaborative nature.
• Relevant tertiary certificate or degree in HR or related field, or significant equivalent experience in HR operational roles
• Experience and competence in using and supporting a HRIS
• Interpretation and application of employment legislation and enterprise agreements

The Operation
Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.
