Your new role
Report to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for a specific client group of circa 70 employees and support them in all operational HR and People issues. You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and build strong working relationships with the leaders and wider business. You will work with a very passionate, driven, high-performing team and leaders, and the culture reflects this.
Key areas of your role will be:
- Employee relations and performance management coaching
- Advising on HR policies, processes and employment legislations, modern awards
- End to end recruitment for your client group
- Onboarding, inductions and training of new starters
- HR analytics, reporting and remuneration reviews
- WHS and Wellbeing initiative management
- Support HR Director in Diversity & Inclusion Strategies and project roll outs
What you'll need to succeed
- An ideal position for someone who is an experienced Senior HR Advisor or up and coming HR Business Partner
- You will be experienced in managing your own workload and being able to work independently
- You will have knowledge of modern awards, ER and workplace issues
- You will be an experienced internal recruiter who enjoys sourcing and onboarding
- You will be fast-paced, agile and be able to think outside the box
- You will have strong IT, reporting and HRIS skills to support the wider HR team and business
- This is a creative and fluid business environment, so ideal for someone who has a more agile mindset and who thrives in a less structured business.
- Experience of working in a media creative or design related sector would be wonderful but it is not essential
- You must have worked in an SME, small to medium-sized business previously versus large corporate
