The Opportunity:
Working in a highly skilled team of PMO and I.T professionals, this role will focus on acting as the Senior Product Manager of the organisations HR & Payroll solution, for this NSW government sector organisation. Duties will include overseeing the continuous product improvement of the client’s HR & Payroll solution; specifically around timesheet management, resource rostering, employee salary reviews & promotions, and financial governance. This is a highly exciting role to work with some of-the-best in the business, within an Agile environment. This initial contract will be for 8 months (until 31/12/2024) with further extensions highly likely and will performed in the client’s Sydney Inner West offices 1-2 days per week, with 3-4 days per week working remotely from home.
Required skills and experience:
- 7+ years Product Manager / Product Owner experience in total
- 4+ years HR & Payroll experience in total (HRIS, HCM and/or HRMS)
- 3+ years Team-Lead and / or Mentoring experience
- Agile and Waterfall methodology experience
- Excellent communication & client stakeholder experience
- Proven Power BI and/or Clarity PPM experience
- Industry certification; SAFe, Scrum, ITIL etc.
- Previous experience of the Government or Educational Sector
