Title: Senior HR Advisor (People Advisory)
Preferred Start Date: ASAP
End Date: September (initial 3 Months, potential for extension and future perm)
Hours per week: Full-time - 38 hours per week
Rate: Up to $69.00 per hour plus Super
Location: Leederville, WA
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR/ER professional to join our client’s People Advisory team. Reporting to the Manager – People Advisory, the successful candidate will support their leaders to provide a great place to work for our employees, and a great service to our customers. As a Senior Advisor they will assist leaders to minimise risk and improve culture and performance to achieve desired business outcomes.
Some of the day-to-day activities will include:
· Providing advice, support and coaching to leaders on matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, fitness for work, behaviour and team culture.
· Undertaking workplace investigations of varying levels of complexity
· Coaching leaders to improve their people management capability
· Providing advice on the interpretation of our enterprise agreement and employment contracts
· Participating in the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of employee relations initiatives, processes, policies, and procedures and ways of working.
· You may also have the opportunity to be involved in claims and disputes before the Fair Work Commission/Equal Opportunity Commission.
Key skills and experience
- Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- Considerable HR generalist, employee relations and/or case management experience, ideally in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation. Case management experience essential.
- Experience working with a field based blue collar workforce would be beneficial but is not essential.
Essential pre-employment requirements

- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain if successful
- Drug and alcohol screening
