Located at Riverview, near Ipswich in south east Queensland, the Senior HR Business Partner position is based at our Northern Operations Head Office which
Position Objectives:
The primary objective of the Senior HR Business Partner is to partner with the Northern operational business to provide generalist human resources services which support business objectives, a high-performance culture, and employee engagement. These services include recruitment and selection support, performance management advice, management of investigations, supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and relevant strategic HR initiatives.
The role will partner with the Northern head office team, Hemmant cold stores, and our five processing plants and five feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales.
Role Responsibilities:
Act as the direct HR point of contact for the Northern head office across the full employee lifecycle
Act as a HR point of escalation to support and guide our site based HR teams
Support the implementation of Group and/or Northern strategic HR initiatives
Create and manage end to end recruitment for Northern head office roles
Assist with the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and templates
Support talent and succession activities, including 360 and 9 box processes and calibration sessions
Process employee variations and other employee data changes through SAP and issuing appropriate documentation to employees and payroll
Lead workplace investigations and performance management processes
Provide HR advice, coaching and support to leaders and team members in a timely and professional manner
Provide end to end recruitment support and coordinate recruitment campaigns as required
Identify and implement improvements and more efficient HR processes and other ways of working
Lead, develop and coach teams
Provide advice and support with employee engagement activities, including the completion of engagement action plans
Support a positive industrial relations environment
Collate, analyse and provide recommendations based on HR data e.g. turnover, absenteeism and workers' compensation
Develop communications, announcements and presentations as required.
Skills/Competencies:
Bachelor degree (or as a minimum, Diploma) in HR or related discipline
Minimum of 7 years' generalist HR experience
FMCG / other relevant industry experience preferred
Demonstrated ability in managing varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines in dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong customer service orientation
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, while also being a collaborative team member
Highly proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
