We are looking for a hydraulic specialist with experience in testing and commissioning as well as operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems in large scale Metro projects.
You'll have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering, or a related field
- Strong ability to communicate and present information/data by means of visualisation tools.
- Work experience in testing and commissioning activities; shop-drawing review; and requirements verification and validation processes.
- Investigative, analytical and research skills, using software to record, manipulate and present asset and project programming data.
- Knowledge of Australian design standards, codes and practices
- Appetite to learn more and further develop your skills (continuous development)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural Team environment.

Your Opportunity
Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Built Environment team has an exciting opening for a Senior Hydraulic Engineering Professional in our Sydney office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering city-shaping projects across Australia.
This is a key role within the Mott MacDonald building services team, to apply your knowledge of hydraulic services to provide site-based services, for the review of installation, testing and commissioning of Metro Stations within Sydney, you will be:
- Acting as the Engineer responsible for hydraulic systems (plumbing systems, sewer systems, drainage, hot and cold water supply systems, rainwater collection, dewatering systems, waste disposal and wastewater treatment) and provide domain expertise in Sydney Metro and within Mott MacDonald
- Providing technical advice on system engineering, design and assurance matters considering delivery, operation, and maintenance of the system.
- Developing/Review test plans, procedures, methodologies and schedules for the different testing and commissioning stages of a large-scale infrastructure project (off-site tests, on-site tests, performance tests and operational readiness tests).
- Supervise testing and commissioning of low-voltage power supply systems, collect data/evidence, and assess compliance.
- Identify continuous improvements in the architecture and specifications of systems. #LI-MW1
