Senior/ Associate Hydraulic Engineer

Exciting opportunity to join a well-known multi-disciplinary firm that is genuinely concerned with the environmental impact of each project.

My client is a multi-services engineering design practice with 85+ people across multiple offices nationally and abroad. The company is 100% Australian owned and operated, providing building services engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Information Modelling, Environmentally Sustainable Design, Hydraulics & Fire Protection, Transportation and Civil Engineering Stormwater Drainage to the property and construction industry.
POSITION

Looking for a motivated Senior Hydraulic Engineer to work as part of an experienced team in a Multi-Discipline environment.
Project delivery of Hydraulic building services projects, heavily involved in a wide range of projects, including arts & culture, commercial & workplace, education, health, hotels & hospitality, mixed-use, residential and retail. Working closely with a diverse client base, building relationships with clients, and responding efficiently to clients' needs, including attendance at meetings and inspections. Managing projects from start to finish, including preparing proposals, budgets, and timelines. Providing mentorship and guidance to the hydraulic and project teams.
REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of local experience in a similar position within the building services environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design
• CPEng and NER
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, preferred not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Well-developed understanding of relevant Standards and Building Codes
• At least 3 years of experience working in Australia
