MPI have partnered with this dynamic and forward-thinking Lithium mining company who are at the forefront of sustainable resource development. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to assist in managing water resources and ensuring the sustainability of their mining operations.
The Role:
- Play a Senior role in the development and implementation of hydrogeological strategies to optimize water resource management.
- Conduct comprehensive hydrogeological assessments to support mining operations and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to integrate hydrogeological considerations into project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Identify potential risks related to water resources and develop effective mitigation measures.
- Implement monitoring programs to assess and manage potential impacts on groundwater quality and quantity.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior hydrogeologists.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge transfer within the hydrogeology team.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in hydrogeology, with a focus on mining projects.
- Strong knowledge of groundwater modelling software and environmental regulations.
- Proven track record in managing and implementing successful hydrogeological projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
