NSW Education Standards Authority (‘NESA’) was formally established on 1 January 2017 to improve quality teaching and student learning across all schools and school sectors. It is responsible for the curriculum, assessment, teacher accreditation and regulatory standards in NSW schools, and accreditation of early childhood teachers.
We are looking for a Senior ICT Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for managing the design, testing and implementation of infrastructure solutions including installations of ICT hardware, computers, network components, data storage and multi-functional devices in virtualised and cloud computing environments in accordance with industry standards including compatibility, security, and sustainability.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your immediate proficiency in the focus capabilities as highlighted in the Role Description. All the capabilities listed in the role description will be assessed at different stages of the recruitment process.
Essential requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in information technology and/or industry experience in related field
Extensive experience in Private and Public Cloud (Azure and/or AWS) Infrastructure
Extensive experience in Microsoft technology stack, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Exceptional problem solving, analytical and organisational skills including the ability to recommend improvements/alternatives
Strong consulting, negotiation skills and ability to work within diverse teams and key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation
