About the role
The Senior Implementation Consultant takes part in all stages of the implementation life-cycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support), under the direction of the Delivery Manager. The role with be a mix of BA/Consulting activities as well as and technical configuration of the system, either through the bespoke tooling and/or custom scripts in groovy.
Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting, and managing customer expectations, providing guidance, identifying risks, and communicating issues to the Project Manager.
The client is looking for ambitious Implementation Consultants who want to step up in their career, be it through growing their technical capacity, management or focusing on Delivery going down the Delivery Management route, there are multiple career opportunities for the fight person.
To be considered for the role;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous customer facing implementation/configuration experience
- Document and validate customer’s business requirements
- Configure the application to meet the customer’s documented business requirements
- Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables
- Ability to work with configuration tools working with complex data models, financial calculations and business rules/workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with large/complex software platforms
- Be comfortable with technology, not afraid to use scripts / SQL or similar
As a Senior, you will be comfortable working independently, also, working closely with the Delivery Manager you will assist them in their activities from leading small projects, teams, estimations and more.
The senior position will have multiple career options to grow towards such as a Delivery Manager, Team Lead, Technical SME, Solutions Consultant.
Highly Desirable
- General insurance experience
- Strong technical background or logical mindset prior experience in coding, scripting etc for e.g.
