AddressASX listed international company has a newly created fabulous opportunity for a career Commercial Paralegal. This role is varied and will see you work closely with the General Counsel /Company Secretary on board and compliance duties, work independently on paralegal responsibilities and assist the legal team with adhoc projects and admin when required.
About the role:
- Develop, implement, and manage processes and workflows
- Drafting documentation and correspondence
- Liaising with and building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Management of requests for legal assistance - execution of contracts advice, compliance
- Maintaining the contracts register
- Maintaining, uploading, and archiving of legal documents/records
- Legal research
- Creating and running regular reports
- Assisting with Company Secretary Admin (drafting Agendas, preparing reports, lodging documentation, organising meetings etc.)
- Provide administrative support to the Legal Team as required
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant (corporate commercial) paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house team legal team
- Ideally worked for ASX listed top 200 company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and able to track multiple work-streams
- Able to identify areas of opportunity to improve efficiency
- Driven and able to work autonomously while prioritising competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and willingness to work with all levels of the organisation
- Adaptable and a great sense of humour and positive and happy to help nature
- Australia citizen or permanent resident
