Senior Indirect Tax Analyst

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to provide tax support to the Head of Tax and Australian businesses of ENGIE on Indirect Tax compliance and advisory. This role is a 12 month fixed term opportunity and will report to the Head of Tax. We work flexibly from the office and home – hybrid work model. Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) and annual Fringe Benefits Tax returns for entities within the Australian group, including account reconciliations and GST Analytical Tool analysis Provide assistance in completing the implementation of Edge BAS preparation software (PwC product) Provision of key Indirect Tax support and analysis across the business, including advice on GST treatment of new products and GST clause reviews in new contracts Preparation of Indirect Tax position papers and internal memos as required Provision of training on Indirect Tax requirements to the business stakeholder About You: To be successful in this role, you will have strengths in Indirect Tax compliance and experienced in advising on Indirect Tax technical matters in a complex business environment. The ideal candidate will have achieved CA, CPA and/or Masters of Tax qualifications. You are action-oriented and collaborative in your approach and possess excellent communication skills.
