Situated within Corporate Services, Information Technology and Delivery is responsible for managing, supporting and improving the information and technology assets of the organisation.
This will include managing the ongoing improvement of technology and Information Management systems, governance and mitigation of IT risk and ensuring the ongoing operations of the organisation's technology and information infrastructure globally.
Your opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Business Engagement, you will be responsible for driving the successful design, delivery and use of TIQ's Information Management assets, while coordinating the delivery of information architecture across current and future systems to ensure the maturity of TIQ's records, documents and knowledge management capabilities continues. You will develop strategies and techniques to enhance and maintain TIQ's electronic document management systems (eDRMS). This will include providing education, training programs and awareness of Information Management systems.
Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities):
- Review TIQ's current global Information Management environments (including eDRM and CRM), provide advice and recommendations to the CIO and Senior Executive Team (SET) relating to the capture and management of information to support future recordkeeping directions and strategies
- Continuously evaluate TIQ's Information Management approach to monitor performance and provide recommended solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and client acceptance
- Provide detailed recordkeeping input to system design and development proposals, to ensure the functional requirements are in accordance with TIQ's business priorities and the Queensland Government's policies and standards
- Educate clients through developing and facilitating Information Management training and awareness of systems and frameworks
- Identify, develop and implement business process improvements to ensure all employees are made aware on how best to utilise the management of information
- Develop and maintain policies, initiatives and procedures to respond to current and emerging issues impacting on TIQ's Information Management, including risk assessments, systems analysis and recordkeeping compliance
- Provide verbal and written correspondence, including business cases, reports, submissions and briefings in support and promotion of the TIQ Information, Communications and Technology Strategy, specifically with a focus on Information Management
- Support effective organisational change to help drive the adoption of electronic work processes aligned to the Information Management framework
- Develop and foster effective relationships with key internal (domestic and international) and external stakeholders across local, state and federal agencies, industry to continue to build commitment to long term growth
- Establish and maintain effective communication strategies, stakeholder negotiation and liaison activities across cultures and other private and public sector organisations
