Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care. Essential Selection Criteria to address (see a full list in the JDF, attached above): * Considerable experience in performance monitoring; data analysis, evaluation, and presentation in a complex organisation within a health or similar industry.
  • Highly developed conceptual, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, statistical analysis and business intelligence tools e.g. SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R programming.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated communication, consultation and negotiation skills including the ability to clearly and succinctly interpret data for others.
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of quality and performance improvement principals.
  • Knowledge of case mix and an understanding of the impact of Activity Based Funding on the delivery of clinical services in a large hospital.
