AddressOne of our Government clients is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 6 month contract.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be working on an exciting project that is aimed to deliver a range of ICT Infrastructure to support the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare definition documents, solution specifications, design documentation and acceptance test procedures
- Support the planning and coordination of program hardware integration activities
- Integrate the solution elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behaviour, interactions, and performance
- Define and lead infrastructure testing activities in order to demonstrate the solution
- Participate in Design Review, identify risks and propose effective solutions
Key Skills and Experiences:
- Extensive Experience working an Infrastructure engineer role
- Solid experience with the Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
- Demonstrated experience developing configuration
- Experience using scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash and PowerShell
- Strong experience using IAAS/PAAS (AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Please note that the client is seeking a candidate who can work in the office (Tullamarine location) 5 days a week.
