Content Audience and Performance is part of the Subscription, Infrastructure and Strategy Division at Foxtel Group, and are at the heart of the Content decisions, leading analysis and providing recommendations to bring the best content to our customers across the Foxtel Group. We are a centre of excellence who interface with every other team across Content and beyond.
We are at the forefront of the data evolution in Content and the next phase of Content Audience and Performance is to integrate new datasets into our ways of working and decision making, enabling faster and deeper insights. We lead the way by guiding Content teams in how they can use insight and shape the future of audience data and analysis across the Foxtel Group.
We are responsible for both short-term insights that drive operational performance as well as medium-long term analysis that helps shape content strategy. As part of the Content Audience and Performance team you will be a trusted partner in the planning and delivery of insightful recommendations to meet stakeholder needs, provide guidance to colleagues on applying statistical principles in analytics, innovate with new data and technology to accelerate the analytics capability in the business and enable data driven decision making. This ranges from improving regular reporting and insights on viewing to content and customer retention analysis that shapes our content rights valuations and content propositions. It’s an exciting and fast-moving time for the industry and for the Foxtel Group. We make a big impact driving this change.
You’ll get to work on a wide range of exciting projects that guide key decision making and make a real difference in driving the performance of the Content division and wider business. You will be asked to:
- Autonomously work with stakeholders to identify analysis needs and design solutions
- Develop advanced analytics solutions such as cluster segmentations and propensity models that can be used in content valuation initiatives
- Ensure that solutions produce insights and recommendations that the business can execute and measure, presented in a clear way that the business can understand
- Offer leadership support to the immediate team in the development of quality analytical outputs
- Build processes and tools to ensure analytical outputs of the team are statistically reliable
- Educate colleagues and stakeholders on the application of principles such as statistical significance, managing bias and test vs control methodology
- Provide leadership in the team’s ongoing mission to find new and better ways to leverage our available data to drive business performance and solve strategic questions
- Implement continuous improvement techniques and utilise emerging technology to create efficiencies in the way analysis is conducted
- Design and implement new analyses or modelling processes that will assist the team through greater standardisation, speed, simplicity or automation
