AddressWe're seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to join our client's team in Perth. The role involves providing high-quality design and drafting services while ensuring compliance with industry and Australian regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver design and drafting services on time and within budget, reporting to the Discipline Lead or Project Manager.
- Coordinate with Workshare teams and other designers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support project scoping and budget estimation, working closely with Bid Managers and Lead Engineers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Offer technical support to the project team and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Identify and resolve project scope discrepancies, suggesting innovative solutions.
- Produce, check, and review design documents, including block diagrams, termination diagrams, schematics, loops, P&IDs, and more.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma) in Instrumentation or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the hydrocarbon industry, with a focus on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation; familiarity with SmartPlant Instrumentation or 3D modeling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder collaboration.
