Your new role:Reporting to the API and Integration Manager, the
Senior Integration Engineer is a technical specialist role focusing on the operational management, continuous improvement and delivery of the Fund's Microsoft Azure-based integration environment (including logic apps, functions, APIs, APIM, service bus, event grid, and other integration components). This role includes platform oversight and governance, technical engineering, solution design and implementation, development of engineering patterns, and operational management, as well as ensuring alignment to the Funds processes, standards, and best practices. The role will actively champion continuous improvement to ensure technology platforms remain current as well as being responsible for delivery of new integrations into the environment.
Key duties include but are not limited to:- Provide engineering governance and oversight, as well as operational management of the Azure-hosted Fund Integration Platform, including management of build and configuration activities, monitoring, observability and alerting, as well as lifecycle management.
- Provide 24x7 operational support (via an on-call roster system) for all components of the Fund Integration Platform, including incident resolution and problem management.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements for new integrations. and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and aligned to standards and patterns.
- Develop integration standards and re-usable engineering patterns.
- Act as an escalation point for level 1 and level 2 teams where they are unable to resolve an issue, including support outside of normal business hours on occasion.
- Ensure all Incidents and Service Requests are handled effectively across each channel, within agreed SLAs, to deliver colleague satisfaction.
- Where relevant, ensure vendors align to AustralianSuper operational processes, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures.
What you'll need:- 5+ years of experience working with integration technologies and able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of integration concepts and principles.
- Deep experience in technical positions, including development of logic apps, function apps, and APIs, ideally in a complex, technical environment.
- Experience with code driven pipelines using Azure DevOps, with Terraform as a preferred skill.
- Deep experience in integration workflow design utilising Azure services.
- Excellent and demonstrable technical knowledge and understanding of integration platforms and services:

- · Azure Service Bus
- · Microservices
- · Automation and scripting (Terraform, ARM, Python, Powershell, etc.)
- Proven experience in Agile ways of working to enhance products and services through engineering best practices.
- Understanding and working knowledge of ITIL and other relevant ITSM frameworks.
