Senior Integration Specialist
The role is responsible for designing and building integration solutions across all integration platforms, implementing established integration patterns and bringing in new integration technologies such as, but not limited to, Azure and AWS capabilities to meet the business requirements of our client.
Responsibilities:

• Technical integration experience
• Ability to design integration solutions according to requirements
• Ability to support the integration platforms and/or work with Integration Specialists to ensure the platforms are working as expected
• Ability to identify complex/risky aspects of a solution and propose alternative designs
• Assist in developing and implementing technical standards.
• Maintain close liaison with data providers and recipients, other team members, and other members of the organisation.
• Ability to collaborate within a team of Integration Specialists with a range of skills and experience, including planning, assigning and scheduling work across Integration work streams (BAU, Enhancement Initiatives and Projects)
• Liaise with external consultants and/or software vendors to resolve system problems and achieve business goals.
• Find solutions to problems day-to-day for integration operations, ensuring business expectations and critical SLA deadlines are met.
• Develop technical specifications for both small system enhancements and new systems.
• Write programs and scripts for new applications or maintain and enhance existing applications and interfaces as specified and according to the standards set by the IT department.
• In-depth knowledge of security requirements, web services, RESTful services, service-oriented architecture, design patterns, multi-threaded systems and automated unit testing
• Liaise with Incident, Problem and Change Managers for all outages, upgrades and major incidents.

Expertise Required:

• Ideally, experience of Integration Analyst or Senior Integration Position
• Can provide technical leadership to large, complex activities, knowing when to engage with others and effectively communicating status and technical information.
• Demonstrated ability as an integration analyst on projects, working effectively with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to determine programming requirements across the integration platform for systems.
• Design and maintain SDLC processes
• Design and maintain coding standards
• Code within security frameworks
• Demonstrated detailed knowledge of several programming environments and a good working knowledge of hardware and software interfaces
• Ability to write original multi-module/complex programs or apply reusable modules
• Demonstrated experience in designing, testing and integrating software integration modules and resolving programming errors using various debugging tools and techniques
• Understanding of the following integration protocols, standards and specifications:

• HTTP/HTTPS in general, and the implementation of RESTful interfaces over HTTP/HTTPS in particular
• FTP/FTPS
• SOAP
• XML, including XSL & WSDL
• JSON, including Swagger/OpenAPI
• Ideally, experience in the following integration platforms:

• Microsoft Azure, in particular, in order of importance:

• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure API Management
• Azure Functions
• Microsoft On-Premises Data Gateway
• Azure Storage (esp. Blobs & Files)
• Azure KeyVault
• Azure App Configuration
• Technologies and methodologies for managing disaster recovery in Azure
• Azure Firewall
• Azure Active Directory
• Azure SQL
• Azure App Services
• BizTalk (minimal required; current Integration platform)
• Experience in continuous Integration/continuous deployment ideally supported by the following tools:

• Microsoft DevOps
• Git
• Visual Studio 2015/2019
• PowerShell
• ARM templates
• Integration Testing Tools (SOAP UI, Postman, Mountebank, mocked services etc.)
• .Net Framework development experience
• SQL Server development experience (Database design, Transact-SQL)
