About the role:Reporting to the Data Service Delivery Manager, The
Senior Integration Platform Specialist role will be responsible for managing health and performance of our Integration platforms.The role will be driving design and engineering practices, hands-on delivery and technical business partnership to ensure that
Integration Platform and solutions are performant, reliable, resilient, scalable and fit for purpose in our increasingly API and Event-driven landscape.Why this role matters:
- Maintain and enhance the internal Integration platform for optimal performance, supporting evolving business demands.
- Participate in all aspects of integration solution delivery life cycle including analysis, estimation, design, development, testing, production deployment, and support.
- Analyse, design, develop and implement robust and scalable middleware services and B2B solutions that is scalable, maintainable, and extensible with minimal impact to existing capability.
- Develop standardised practices for delivering application integration new products and capabilities using cloud technologies, including data acquisition, transformation, and analysis.
- Provide reviews of deliverables and identifies gaps/areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor teams in the use of the fundamental components of application integration.
- Leading the execution of assigned development work to improve the quality, reliability, flexibility, and performance of current and future Origin deliverables.
- Provides 24x7 post-implementation supports, responds to problem quickly and provide both short- and long-term resolutions.
- Implement monitoring processes to automate the detection and resolution of errors.
- Provides end-users supports including business queries and requests.
What will you bring?- 7+ years of experience working in application integration roles, focusing on design responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience with Integration platforms is mandatory.
- Expert experience and proficiency in Node.js coding skills.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated experience with open-source integration frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience using message-oriented middleware.
- Commercial exposure to API management solutions and API security patterns.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps tools including automation, version control and CI/CD pipeline utilities.
