Due to expansion of their current workload in their interiors stream, we are now seeking an adept Senior Interior Designer to take an integral part of a prestigious landmark project. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record working across all project phases, and a background in successfully delivering construction documentation packages. This role demands forward-thinking, proactive individuals who are confident in taking the lead on intricate documentation packages within a collaborative team of Interior Designers.
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping extraordinary interior spaces for a prominent and captivating project. Working closely with Architects, Senior Designers, and Associates will be key whilst you contribute to a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation and design excellence.

In the role as a Senior Interior Designer your key responsibilities will be:
- To work independently and as part of a team across a variety of projects.
- Produce accurate and comprehensive construction documentation, ensuring adherence to design standards and specifications.
- Participate in client meetings, understanding requirements and amending changes that need to be made.
- Provide input on material selection, finishes, furnishings, and lighting to enhance project aesthetics.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project integration.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, striving to meet project milestones and client expectations.
In the role as a Senior Interior Designer, we require you to have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Minimum of 6-10+ years of professional experience in interior design.
- Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed design documentation.
- Current experience working on Hotels, Hospitality or High-rise residential buildings within Australia
- Prior experience in construction documentation and detailing, client liaison, coordination, technical drawings and interior design package documentation including joinery documentation.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and visual, to effectively present design ideas.
- Previous experience working on large-scale projects is essential as you will be taking lead of part of a project and managing 1 other person.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
- Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Residency or Citizenship) is essential for this role.
