Job description

The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.

The Opportunity As a Senior Compliance and Investigations Officer, you will work as part of a small Team. The team is responsible for conducting investigations, and compiling prosecution briefs, on identified offences under the Working with Children (Screening) Act 2004. The team also conduct compliance checks (audits) in accordance with the Legislation, and contemporary investigation methodologies.

There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling and two (2) fixed term positions for a period of up to 12 months with possible extension.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.
