Senior Investment Consultant

Evergreen Consultants, a pioneer and leader in managed accounts, is growing. We are currently looking to fill roles in our investment consulting team as our client list grows.

We are a market leading provider of investment solutions, primarily through managed accounts, for the highest quality financial planners in the country. We are looking for talented individuals who would like to drive their careers to the next level, with a role that encompasses all parts of the investment consulting process.

The role is challenging and dynamic, due to its diversity. A typical day can include interviewing fund managers regarding strategies in any asset class, working on a client portfolio, answering client queries, testing an SAA using internally built models, working on an article on a relevant investment topic (a recent example is a 120 history of bond markets), working with the sales team on opportunities or appearing in the media on our behalf. The role is diverse and will be tailored to suit your interests and skill set.

The ideal candidate will have strong numeracy, literacy, relationship and presentation skills. They should be comfortable conducting research and analysis on funds, markets and portfolios and presenting those findings in different ways in order to provide our clients with solutions that suit them and their businesses.

Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with clients, fund managers, platforms and other relevant parties
• Facilitate and attend client and manager meetings
• Conduct necessary research, including manager and portfolio research, to establish ideal solutions for clients
• Contribute to the body of internal investment knowledge and content
• Work with fund managers and platforms to effectively manage client portfolios
• Assist the sales team in winning opportunities
• Contribute positively to the company culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in related field
• Strong communication, numeracy, literacy and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Ability to work in a close-knit team
