Your Team
The Investment Review Services team sits within the Investment and Custody Governance area, which oversees the operational relationship management for various suppliers within Fund Services. The team is responsible for ensuring effective governance of the Due Diligence framework, building and managing relationships with outsourced investment managers and achieving timely outcomes for the business by addressing and resolving key issues with respective investment managers.
Your Responsibilities
You will play an important part in ensuring that CFS continues to deliver the best outcome for our customers through managing and mitigating risk and therefore maintaining our great reputation and brand.
You will achieve this by:
- Managing the effective exit/onboarding of Investment Managers/funds by working closely with internal business stakeholders, custodians, and external investment managers.
- Conducting due diligence of Investment Managers including onsite visits, report writing and ongoing monitoring of risk, compliance and operational obligations.
- Performing post trade compliance in accordance with internal investment guidelines, mandates and other policies.
- Managing and supporting the ongoing relationship with the external investment managers appointed to mandates on the platform, acting as a primary operational contact.
- Identification, investigation and management of risk matters through to rectification.
- Preparing management reporting and KPI statistics.
Your Capability and Experience
- Proven experience within a Investment Manager/custodian in an operational or risk and compliance capacity (post-trade compliance experience highly regarded).
- Advanced knowledge of Investment Markets, Corporate Actions, OTC instruments, trade settlements, cash management and/or valuations.
- Detailed knowledge of or practical experience in conducting oversight/due diligence on outsourced service providers.
- Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Previous experience using SimCorp Dimension will be highly regarded.
