You will leverage their existing experience in derivative regulatory reporting and understanding of current APRA/ASIC compliance obligations. You will be responsible for the Fund's oversight and reporting obligations relating to internal and external derivative transactions. You will liaise directly with the external vendors and managers, as well as collaborate with the Investments team as the Fund builds out its internal trading capability.
The position supports the team in regulatory & internalisation-based projects. You will also be responsible for helping establish, and then maintain, a robust analytical and Derivative Reporting framework.
It is essential for your success to have;
- Prior experience in derivative regulatory reporting along with a demonstrated understanding of current APRA/ASIC compliance obligations, including the ASIC refit changes being introduced
- Knowledge of the end-to-end derivative trade lifecycle to understand the various derivative trade reporting requirements that might be generated by certain trades
- Sound investment, financial market & product knowledge (including both cleared and uncleared derivatives) particularly in investment operations and regulations at an institutional level.
