Senior Java Developer

Job Description

• 6 Month Rolling Contract
• Large Banking Client
• Multiple Roles open

Our client is looking for someone to join their team to help support a few programs of work here in Melbourne.

Day to day activities will include:

• Execute & drive hands-on design and engineering for API's, maximizing and implementing best practice CI/CD across enterprise
• Champion a CI/CD mindset and corresponding cultural transformation
• Work with delivery teams to achieve success through the adoption of CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tooling
• Shape and design solution in alignment with the roadmap
• Be part of an engineering practice focused on excellent engineering of APIs and micro services

What you will bring:

• Significant hands on experience designing and engineering software services with a strong -background in Java, Microservices, CI/CD, Springboot, event driven solutions (Kafka), and AWS services
• Excellent understanding of APIs and Microservices patterns
• Agile software development practices
• An open mindset and proven ability to innovate and influence

Experience in a highly regulated industry, like Banking, Gaming, or Energy will be highly desirable.
