About the role
Our CSBP Soil and Plant Analysis Lab is recognised around the world as a leader in soil and plant testing. With a highly skilled team, automated processes, robust methods and equipment, we analyse thousands of samples per day, ensuring fast turnarounds and quality results. This is a great opportunity for you to join the team, taking on responsibility for areas in the Laboratory, based on demand, to ensure quality and turnaround requirements are met.
This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic team that will invest in your development and future. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing supervision and leadership to sections of the CSBP Lab under the direction of the Lab Analysis Supervisor
- Performing analysis of soil, plant and water samples and review results according to the laboratory’s procedures
- Using your technical knowledge to provide support to resolve operational problems
- Providing training to Lab Technician staff
- Prioritising your safety, and the safety of others in all practices
Do you have the following skills, capabilities and experience?
- A Bachelor of Science/chemistry or Certificate IV in laboratory techniques
- Previous experience working in a wet chemistry laboratory
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- A passion for providing guidance, leadership and training to others
