Are you an experienced lawyer ready to take on this rare opportunity to deliver legal services to primary producers and rural small business operators in relation to finance and debt.
This is a permanent full time role.
Please note, extensive travel to regional and remote locations is required in this position.
What you will do
- Provide face to face high level specialist advice and information on credit and debit related issues
- Propose, negotiate, mediate and document appropriate terms of agreement of financial disputes between primary producers and lenders
- Help primary producers and other relevant stakeholders in the development of debt relief proposals
- Represent clients in consumer law matters
About you: The successful candidate will have
- Extensive experience in relation to commercial and consumer law
- Demonstrated ability to represent clients in complex credit and insurance law cases
- Ability to prepare submissions for policy development and law reform
