Senior Lawyer - Insurance And Commercial - Associate/Senior Associate

Located conveniently in the heart of the CBD, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with 5 years PAE who is looking to secure a full-time position within our dynamic team. 

About the role:

You will work closely with the Partners and Senior Associates, receive ongoing mentorship, support and exposure to a range of legal areas to further develop and grow your career. 

Key Responsibilities

Insurance litigation expertise, focusing on:

• Defence of litigated and unlitigated public liability claims (personal injury and property damage)
• Managing a portfolio of property damage insurance recovery claims for one client
• Strata disputes 

There is also the opportunity for a broader practice if interested, in the areas of:

• Drafting commercial contracts
• Leasing
• Conveyancing
• Sale/purchase of business and Commercial premises
• Corporate advice

The ideal candidate:

• At least 5 years PAE
• Experience running litigated files for insurers autonomously
• Commercial acumen
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Practical problem solving skills
• Confident communicator who is able to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues
• Looking for a long term career path
