Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Cloud, ADF (Azure Data Factory), Synapse , Informatica, and Snowflake technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or be based in their Perth office, providing flexibility and autonomy in your work environment.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions leveraging Azure ADF, Synapse Analytics, Informatica, and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Conduct reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the highest quality deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in Data Engineering and analytics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure ADF, Synapse, Informatica, and Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Hands-on experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
• Experience working in a consulting environment is a plus.

Location: This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or be based in our Perth office.
