About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is available in our Learning and Development team for a Senior L&D Consultant. Reporting to the L&D Manager, this is a strategic role that will lead and execute skills mapping and skills development throughout the business. This opportunity suits someone who can bring demonstrated experience within organisational development and is seeking a new dynamic environment to execute their skills.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Consulting with business units to identify skill gaps, future plans and develop training to suit their needs
- Designing and maintaining custom learning for our employees on business systems, processes, products and compliance procedures across an array of business units
- Performing skills capability and development mapping to design training solutions effectively
- Leading and executing learning initiatives that align with the business’ organisational strategy in order to improve employee performance at all levels
- Continually evaluate and improve on programs, assessing the effectiveness of training and making changes when needed
- Reporting on current learning gaps, trends and future opportunities ensuring you are always up to date with the business's commercial objectives
In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- 3-5 years experience in a Learning and Development position in a large organisation
- Tertiary education in a relevant field is preferable but not essential (BA in Psychology or Adult Education)
- Thorough knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in the design and execution of Skills Mapping and Competency Frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of learning management systems and eLearning authoring tools
