- Fixed Term, part time appointment (2-years, 0.8 FTE, 28 hours per week)
- Level C: $130,185 - $146,825 (pro-rata) + Clinical Loading (if eligible) + 17% Superannuation
- Rural location (Shoalhaven Campus or other UOW rural medical education location by negotiation)
The Graduate School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Academic Lead who will be responsible for the development and integration of curriculum, learning and assessment activities for the curriculum theme of Health and Society within the UOW Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. This includes areas such as social and environmental determinants of health, and health equities for patients, communities and populations, with a particular focus on rural populations. It also includes health advocacy and other areas related to public health.
This position also involves teaching-learning activities and student assessment associated with the Research Theme of the MD program, with a focus on teaching research skills and research project supervision for medical students based in rural medical education sites.

- The successful applicant will have a completed PhD or Clinical Fellowship and should reside in a rural area (classified as Modified Monash 2+).
